Abstract

The paper aims to discuss the role of the food and beverages vending sector from a sustainable development perspective. Along the text, the following will be presented: a) the main issues facing the sector as it pursues its journey toward sustainability; b) some examples of product, context or supply chain interventions implemented so far; and c) some possible solutions at the policy, financial and corporate levels that can overcome the obstacles to a full sustainable transition.
