Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the recent evolution of the Food Policy of Rome. After the approval of the resolution that committed the administration to pledge
toward a local food policy, the new municipal administration paved the way for the Food Council. Although not yet in its final form, the Food Council has begun to work
in 2022 through seven tables. In the light of this evolution and the context in which it has matured, the Authors evaluate these first steps and draw possible scenarios
for the future evolution of the food policy for Rome.
