Author Guidelines

Submissions for the General Section must be sent by January 31 to be considered for the issue of that year (e.g., contributions sent by January 31, 2025, will be evaluated for the 2025 issue, published in September).

Submissions must be in English and should not exceed 40.000 characters (including spaces, notes, and works cited). Authors should send their submission through the Submission page, creating an account if it is their first submission. Authors are invited to follow the journal's style sheet in preparing their manuscripts. RSAJournal provides a .docx template to facilitate typesetting the essay according to the journal's layout. Please, refer to the style sheet and template BEFORE submitting a contribution.

We kindly ask authors to check that the submitted file is completely anonymised in all its parts, metadata included, in order to ensure a blind peer review process. A short bionote (150 words) should be uploaded as a separate file titled "SURNAME_bionote" within the same submission.
