Un rapporto proficuo fra Conversation Analysis (CA) e linguistica applicata, seppur auspicato, può avvenire in maniera non problematica solo per alcuni settori della linguistica applicata - come l’analisi dell’interazione in classe - mentre laddove si ha a che fare con la Second Language Acquisition la strada è decisamente in salita. Chi effettua ricerca nell’ambito della SLA deve integrare la conoscenza dell’apparato categoriale della CA con la continua analisi di reali interazioni nativo-non nativo.
I contributi qui raccolti sono ispirati alla CA ma anche ad altri filoni di ricerca, con la consapevolezza dell’importanza degli studi e degli approcci che si fondano sull’analisi di dati reali.
