Questioning the Ephemeral. The Literary Enquiry in the Last Decade of the Romanian Communism

Abstract

Halfway between literature and journalism, the literary enquiry can be seen as an useful documentary tool in the attempt to determine the state of a certain literary field: genre of a very vivid actuality, this short questionnaire is directed to the most relevant – and debatable – themes of literary life. This present article aims to investigate, in a socio-historical perspective, the place and stakes of practicing the literary enquiry during the Romanian last communist decade.
