Abstract

This work is intended as a summary document for all professionals or students who are dealing with the field of scientific research for the first time. The article analyzes the predominant format in the scientific research field: Introduction-Methods-Results-and-Discussion (IMRaD) structure. Furthermore, the sections that also characterize the nowadays research format are also analyzed, such as the title of the research, its summary and the correct citation format. Finally, for students who apply the IMRaD structure to an experimental thesis, the scheme with which this adapts to it.
