Abstract

The relationship between the Italian and German art form in the reflection of Heinrich Wölfflin. Through unpublished documents the author of this essay traces not only the reflection of the great Swiss historian on this subject, but also reconstructs the relations of Wölfflin with the German academic environment and his “feeling of the form”.
