Abstract

Metaphysics and complex thought. It is, by now, accepted by the majority of the scientific community that science also evolves on presumedland incompatible with the only logical experience; the metaphysical character of problems, hypotheses and conjectures constitutes the raw material for the construction of theoretical systems. In this innovative context, the logic of complexity plays an essential role; by proposing new epistemological criteria, it recognizes greater necessity for rationality, but ensures less sufficiency, denying science hegemonies and privileges on other forms of knowledge. The perspective has a wide revolutionary scope, radically reinterpreting knowledge as a system of transversal networks and interdisciplinary synergies. incongruous with the logical and experimental methodologies, in particular the interactions between science and philosophy open new horizons on the interpretation of the idea of “scientific knowledge”.
