The 'Post-Secular'

A New Cognitive Approach between 'Faith and Knowledge'?

Abstract

In today’s terms, by Post–secular in phylosophical perspective, one has to refer to Juergen Habermas. By giving centrality to the Public sphere’s issue but at the same time starting from the existance of an inscrutable nucleus of the faith, Habermas intends to introduce a new perspective to the relation Glauben und Wissen — which in reality turns out to be problematic. It is particularly unclear how the layman can achieve a cooperative translation of religious content without getting to the heart of the matter. Habermas does not see the ambiguity because when speaking about bioethical issues he resorts to concepts of human nature and biological natural fundaments which are true metaphysical residuals.
