Abstract

The third part of the profile dedicated to Ruben Simonov Nikolayevich (1899-1968) reconstructs the initial period of his leadership at the Vakhtangov Theatre in Moscow. The essay retraces the peak of Simonov acting and directing career and the tragic events of contemporary history in the period 1946-1953.

Massimo Lenzi, University of Turin

Ricercatore in Discipline dello spettacolo dell’Università degli Studi della Calabria; dal 2001 è professore associato presso l’Università di Torino, afferendo al Dipartimento DAMS, presso il quale nel 2005 concorre a fondare il Centro Studi di Fenomenologia della rappresentazione e dello spettacolo e codirige la rivista on-line “Baubo” (www.baubo.unito.it).
