Abstract

The spatial dimension (both visual and acoustic) plays a central role in the conception, creation and theory of the performing arts. However, there is no audiovisual documentation material that allows us to investigate this elusive but fundamental aspect of the performative act. The project FORMA. Representing space was set up to develop a prototype for the audiovisual recording of a live show to document the spatiality and represent the first step towards this immersive archive. A path that aims to identify the best practices for the creation of materials, their cataloguing and their use.
