The work aims to propose a new dating of two inscriptions found in Lemnos (Kabirion) and published by Accame (1941-1943, nrr. 1 and 2). The two inscriptions, that were approved at a distance of a generation one from the other, are dated between the mid-fourth century and the twenties. A new reading of the text (Kephisieus pro Prasieus) also allows a better understanding of the second document from a historical point of view. Finally, the prosopography of some characters reveals their familiar ramifications and also indicates the medium-high level of their economic and social status.
