Lenguas y culturas en interacción: nuevas recreaciones de cocoliche (1901-902)

Abstract

La scoperta di un campione di cocoliche (ri)creato da Lucillo Ambruzzi in forma di sonetto e pubblicato nella rivista Natura ed Arte (1901-902) riaccende l'interesse linguistico per questa lingua mista. Sulla base di diversi studi sull'argomento, tra cui quelli di Meo Zilio (1964, 1989) e Berruto (2006, 2009), lo scopo di questo lavoro è, in primo luogo, recuperare o rinnovare, alla luce dei nuovi postulati della sociolinguistica, le caratteristiche del cocoliche, un fenomeno che offre diversi aspetti finora poco differenziati, e, in secondo luogo, realizzare un'analisi specifica del campione di cocoliche, secondo i criteri stabiliti. Tale analisi aiuterà a illustrare le caratteristiche che definiscono uno dei versanti sopra citati: la mescolanza interlinguistica che avviene nella lingua madre del parlante come lingua ricevente (matrice), che costituisce un fenomeno molto diverso dall'altro filone: l'interlingua, il risultato dell'interferenza che avviene nella lingua straniera come lingua ricevente (matrice), che il parlante usa in quel particolare atto di parola.

The discovery of a sample of cocoliche (re)created by Lucillo Ambruzzi in the form of a sonnet and published in the journal Natura ed Arte (1901-902) rekindles linguistic interest in this mixed language. On the basis of several studies on the subject, including those by Meo Zilio (1964, 1989) and Berruto (2006, 2009), the aim of this work is, firstly, to recover or renew, in the light of the new postulates of sociolinguistics, the characteristics of the cocoliche, a phenomenon that offers different aspects that have been little differentiated until now, and, secondly, to carry out a specific analysis of the cocoliche sample, according to the established criteria. The specific analysis of this sample will help to illustrate the defining features of one of the aforementioned strands: the interlinguistic mixing that takes place in the speaker's mother tongue as the host (matrix) language, which constitutes a very different phenomenon from the other strand: the interlanguage, the result of the interference that occurs in the foreign language as the host (matrix) language, which the speaker uses in that particular speech act.
