Lenguas y culturas en interacción: nuevas recreaciones de cocoliche (1901-902)

Resumen

Al descubrir una muestra de cocoliche (re)creada por Lucillo Ambruzzi en forma de soneto y publicada en la revista Natura ed Arte (1901-902), se repropone el interés lingüístico por esta lengua mixta. A partir de varios estudios sobre el tema, entre los que destacan los de Meo Zilio (1964, 1989) y Berruto (2006, 2009), este trabajo tiene como objetivo, por un lado, recuperar o renovar, a la luz de los nuevos postulados de la sociolingüística, las características del cocoliche, fenómeno que ofrece distintas vertientes poco diferenciadas hasta ahora, y, en segundo lugar, realizar el análisis concreto de la muestra de cocoliche, según los criterios establecidos. El análisis específico de dicha muestra ayudará a ilustrar los rasgos definitorios de una de las vertientes mencionadas: la mezcla interlingüística que se produce en la lengua materna del hablante como lengua receptora (matriz), que constituye un fenómeno bien distinto respecto a otra de las vertientes: la interlengua, resultado de las interferencias que se producen en la lengua extranjera como lengua receptora (matriz), que el hablante usa en ese determinado acto de habla.

The discovery of a sample of cocoliche (re)created by Lucillo Ambruzzi in the form of a sonnet and published in the journal Natura ed Arte (1901-902) rekindles linguistic interest in this mixed language. On the basis of several studies on the subject, including those by Meo Zilio (1964, 1989) and Berruto (2006, 2009), the aim of this work is, firstly, to recover or renew, in the light of the new postulates of sociolinguistics, the characteristics of the cocoliche, a phenomenon that offers different aspects that have been little differentiated until now, and, secondly, to carry out a specific analysis of the cocoliche sample, according to the established criteria. The specific analysis of this sample will help to illustrate the defining features of one of the aforementioned strands: the interlinguistic mixing that takes place in the speaker's mother tongue as the host (matrix) language, which constitutes a very different phenomenon from the other strand: the interlanguage, the result of the interference that occurs in the foreign language as the host (matrix) language, which the speaker uses in that particular speech act.
