Abstract
The article reports the result of a SWOT analysis of the survey and focus groups with 85 clinical teachers and preceptors of medicine, nursing, and social workers about their perceptions of the HIN approach to the development of clinical reasoning in multimorbidity patients.
The approach was felt to be appropriate for the goal, easy to understand, and fit for student-centered learning. Concern was raised about the ease of use and the tendency to oversimplify the representation of the condition of a patient.
