Abstract

The Sars-CoV-2 pandemic emergency has determined a re-organization of the Model, Methods, and Instruments of Training Programs due to a specific and urgent formative need. This need grew in a very short period of time, affecting a variety of cross-functional and discipline professionals, and requiring the re-organization of training processes and procedures, the improvement of specific capabilities and competencies, in the context of an unexpected pandemic emergency.

The Training Model has been revised, setting new objectives and priorities, constraints, and human resources, also adopting new technologies needed to make the investment effective and sustainable.

The article describes the overall investment and the different training methodologies (i.e. residential video conferences, on-the-job training, e-learning platforms), adopted depending on contents, objectives, number, and diversity of target audience. The learning context is a must-have to reinforce awareness and ability to manage the emergency, which also contributes to improve the resilience of professionals, teams, and as a consequence of the whole Organization
