Following up on Husserl’s analyses of space constitution, this article aims at pointing out the aporias of localization. Then, relying on Marc Richir’s reformulation of Husserlian Leiblichkeit (corporeality) in terms of Platonic chora, it sketches out a new transcendental reduction that leads to a dynamic intertwinement of spatiality, temporality, and affectivity. It thus becomes possible to attempt a clarification of the process of embodiment from both a phenomenological and a metaphysical standpoint.
