Abstract

For Kant, anthropology leads to knowledge of the human beings. Likewise, geography introduces to knowledge of the world. A renewed reflection on the size of geographical space can take a philosophical anthropology of society (that is, an anthropology that is critically engaged with legal structures and political institutions) beyond the model imposed by the historical-historicist reading of society that is still dominating.
