Il y a 100 ans. Musique et sport, Paris 1924-Paris 2024
Abstract
On the occasion of the 2024 Olympic Games, France is offering a vast cultural season comprising some fifty musical events: shows, competitions, workshops, sports activities with musical accompaniment, musical activities relating to sport or the Olympic spirit. A comparison with the discourse and events surrounding Paris 1924 Olympic Games gives a historical perspective to this rather surprising boom of music-sport events.
