The article explores the integration of technology in cultural heritage, focusing on how youth engage with digital tools in museums. Using a socio-material approach, the article examines how youth interact with technology in their daily lives and its impact on their cognition and engagement with cultural heritage. Our findings highlight the role of technology in shaping youth's perspectives on heritage, pointing toward future-oriented methods in cultural heritage research. The article contributes to discussions on empowering youth with digital tools, suggesting a new direction for museum practices and heritage education.
