Call for papers

“Mimesis Journal” is an Italian semi-annual journal of Theatre Studies founded in 2012. The journal publishes two issues per year, in January and June, and welcomes rolling submissions at all times. We solicit international scholarly contributions; all contributions undergo a double-blind peer review process. All proposals will be considered as long as they fall within the thematic areas covered by the journal. The journal also accepts proposals for reviews of volumes and performances for the “Readings and visions” section. Some issues of the journal respond to thematic calls that will be announced from time to time.

As per deadlines, please consider the following terms:

June issue:

• Deadline for abstract submission: second week of December (previous year)

• Deadline for full paper submission: second week of February

December issue (Please note that the December issue often is edited as monographic and thus doesn’t accept miscellaneous proposals):

• Deadline for abstract submission: second week of June

• Deadline for full paper submission: second week of August
