Abstract

The figure of Ramón Gómez de la Serna and his immense multifaceted work have renewed the Spanish literature of the first decades of the 20th century and, in particular, have changed the literature of the twenties. It is an influx that touches all literary genres on the rise with the arrival of the first artistic movements of the European avant-garde; influence that overcomes the barriers, always vain and fictitious in the field of creation, opposed by various nationalisms, since the renewal force of Ramón's work lies in the adventure of the word; in short, it resides in the originality of its linguistic message.
