Abstract

For over 100 years, the “Anthropological Egyptian Collection” at the Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography of the University of Turin (Italy) has been continuously investigated from different transdisciplinary perspectives. The studies on this collection contribute to the success of paleopathology in Italy in the first half of the Twentieth century. For the first time a bibliographical review and an analysis on the state-of-the-art of past and current research is carried out by the authors: the rich bibliography includes the scientific publications from 1913 until today. It provides a useful source of information about the collection and will be useful for researchers who work with Ancient Egypt human remains and materials.
