The Application of the 1938 Racial Laws and the Turin University Faculty of Law
Abstract
The paper is centered on the application of the Racial Laws of 1938 by the Turin Faculty of Law. Through the analysis of the minutes of the Faculty Council and of other sources, the essay retraces the tragic events experienced by Giuseppe Ottolenghi and Cino Vitta, two full-time Jewish professors who were expelled from the University of Turin.
