With D'Azeglio and Stendhal. Mario Bonfantini and the Moral Narrative of the Resistance.
Abstract
The essay analyzes Mario Bonfantini’s life experiences and literary ideas in the light of Massimo D’Azeglio’s and Stendhal’s lessons, who were beloved masters of the “professor” of Novara, who saw a model of faith and passion to emulate in the image of the writer-soldier.
