In this work we propose SPLISURF, a tool developed in Matlab, referring to the generation
of local bivariate quadratic C^1 quasi-interpolating (q-i) splines, defined as a linear
combination of B−splines on uniform and non uniform criss-cross (or type 2) triangulations.
Moreover we briefly review some of their properties and present numerical results.
