NAMAS24 - Numerical Analysis & Modelling in Applied Sciences
This call for papers is an invitation to contribute to a Special Issue of the Journal of Approximation Software for the publication of software related to biomathematics, numerical analysis and its applications. This aims to publication of well-structured accompanying articles to open-source software, on all aspects of approximation theory and applications in its broadest sense.
Topics include but are not limited to software developed to study problems related to:
- approximation theory, meshless/kernel methods, polynomial approximation, numerical integration, image and data processing, numerical linear algebra and inverse problems, optimization methods, numerical solution of ordinary and partial differential equations
- dynamical systems, mathematical ecology, population dynamics, evolution, epidemiology, cancer models
All the mentioned topics fall within the scope of JAS and are also covered by the International Conference “Numerical Analysis & Modelling in Applied Sciences” (NAMAS-24), September 16-20, 2024, Gaeta, Italy; https://sites.google.com/view/namas-24. This Special Issue is addressed to all scientists, who work on the above-mentioned research themes, also including the participants to NAMAS-24 Conference.
