La Cisalpina è stata da sempre per i Romani un campo di sperimentazione politico-istituzionale. Il presente articolo passa rapidamente in rassegna i principali strumenti giuridici usati da Roma per affermare la sua presenza nella regione tra il I sec. a.C. e il I sec. d. C.
The Cisalpine Gaul was always for Romans a field to experiment new political-institutional solutions. The author of this article recalls the institutional means used by Rome to impose her supremacy on the region at the end of the republican period and at the beginning of Empire.
