Language

Submissions may be written in English or Italian.

Title, abstract, and keywords should be provided in both English and Italian. For accepted manuscripts, the editorial team may support linguistic alignment when necessary.

Manuscript preparation

Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal OJS platform.

Files should be submitted in Microsoft Word format.

Use APA 7th edition for citations, references, tables, and figures.

Include:

title
abstract, 150-250 words
3-6 keywords
main text
references
tables and figures, where applicable
ethical statement
conflict of interest statement
funding statement
data availability statement, where applicable
AI use declaration, where applicable

For double-blind peer review, authors must upload:

a blinded manuscript without author names, affiliations, acknowledgments, self-identifying references, or file metadata
a separate title page including author names, affiliations, ORCID IDs, corresponding author, acknowledgments, funding, and conflict of interest statement

Clinical and empirical ethics

For empirical research, manuscripts must report ethical approval, informed consent, recruitment procedures, and data protection measures.

For clinical case studies, authors must state how consent, confidentiality, anonymization, and clinical integrity were handled.

Potentially identifiable information must be removed or substantially disguised. When disguise alters contextual details, the manuscript should preserve the clinically relevant relational, phenomenological, and processual structure.

Tables, figures, and multimedia

Tables and figures should be cited in the text and submitted in editable or high-quality formats.

Figures should include captions and, where possible, alt text for accessibility.

The journal may consider supplementary materials, including audio, video abstracts, clinical diagrams, research instruments, datasets, and methodological appendices, when ethically appropriate.
