From Aletheia to Topos: Ontology of Precariousness in M. Heidegger and G. Vilar

  • Alberto Martinengo Università di Milano

Abstract

The three decades separating Heidegger’s essay on “The Origin of the Work of Art” (1936) and his seminar on “Art and Space” marks a devolpment in their author’s thought. Heidegger’s late thought may thus be related to Gerard Vilar’s reflections of precariousness, where Vilar’s elaborating on the notion of topos leads to the definition of Ereignis as articulated contexts of meaning in which thought is characterized by its performative nature.
