Abstract
The essay deals with the intersections between the representations of the origin and the expressive forms of the sublime, showing how these relationships have great aesthetic relevance in contemporary literature and art, especially in the development of the traditional concept of 'representation' towards the 'non-mimetic' and the 'unrepresentable'
