I Molteplici Significati Della Cooperazione “Sud-Sud” Del Marocco In Africa

Abstract

Morocco's African cooperation strategy, which focuses on intensive agricultural activities, mobilizes different forms and actors. Drawing on a fieldwork carried out between 2015 and 2022, this article provides an overview of the cooperation practices that structure Morocco's relations with various African countries. It illustrates how these practices can become tools for building both national and international legitimacy, reflecting different and coexisting aspirations, interests and priorities. Starting from the way in which Morocco's project of leadership on the Africa takes shape, the article examines how the country operates simultaneously at the economic, political and diplomatic levels.
